While there are camping spots, huge tourist traps, camping spots and tons of hotels, there is also the Horvat family from the small town of Selce, located 30 km south of Rijeka. In 2001 they renovated a 120 year old "Art Nouveau" villa, situated directly on the beach, into a very charming and cosy hotel. Here you can enjoy mediterranean ambience, modern comfort, a beautiful setting and a family atmosphere.
